Western Carolina Falls 96-73 to Wright State - Recap

Western Carolina was run off the court by Wright State on Wednesday as they blasted them 96-73 at Nutter Center.

Wright State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -18.5-point spread as favorites.

Billy Wampler had 26 points for Wright State and Loudon Love chipped in with 17 points. Cole Gentry had 9 assists for them, while Loudon Love was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Western Carolina got a 17-point performance from Carlos Dotson, who was supported by 16 points from Matt Halvorsen. Matt Halvorsen had 3 assists in a losing cause for Western Carolina, while Marc Gosselin grabbed 10 rebounds.

Wright State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Wright State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Murray State. Western Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track vs. College of Charleston.
