Detroit Falls 83-67 to Temple - Recap

Temple got a 30-point performance from Levan Shawn Alston Jr. as Temple handed Detroit a 83-67 defeat on Friday at Liacouras Center.

Temple won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -18.5-point spread.

Quinton Rose had 17 points for Temple and Nate Pierre-Louis chipped in with 10 points. De'Vondre Perry had 6 assists for them, while Ernest Aflakpui was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Detroit got a 30-point performance from Antoine Davis, who was supported by 17 points from Josh McFolley. Josh McFolley had 6 assists in a losing cause for Detroit, while Chris Brandon grabbed 9 rebounds.

Temple was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Temple won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-21.

Next game, Temple takes its act home to face Georgia looking for another win. For Detroit, they head on the road to face Butler.
