Quinnipiac Falls 69-62 to UMass - Recap

Luwane Pipkins scored 20 points leading UMass to a 69-62 victory over Quinnipiac at Mullins Center on Wednesday.

UMass earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -13.0-point spread.

Curtis Cobb had 13 points for UMass and Carl Pierre chipped in with 12 points. Luwane Pipkins had 7 assists for them, while Rashaan Holloway was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Quinnipiac got 16 points from Travis Atson in a losing cause and another 15 points from Aaron Robinson. Aaron Robinson contributed 3 assists for them, while Kevin Marfo had 8 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed UMass were victorious, as the score was $HalfScore at the break.

UMass won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-33.

Next game, UMass takes its act home to face Holy Cross looking for another win. For Quinnipiac, they head on the road to face Stony Brook.
