Drexel Defeats Loyola-Maryland 95-86 - Recap

Drexel grabbed a 95-86 win over Loyola-Maryland on Wednesday, behind a 24-point effort from Alihan Demir at John A. Daskalakis Center.

Drexel got 21 points from Trevor John and another 19 points from Troy Harper. Camren Wynter contributed 10 assists, while James Butler cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Loyola-Maryland got a 31-point performance from Andrew Kostecka, who was supported by 16 points from Brent Holcombe. Andrew Kostecka had 4 assists in a losing cause for Loyola-Maryland, while Brent Holcombe grabbed 5 rebounds.

Drexel trailed at halftime, 48-44.

Drexel won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 27-19.

Drexel heads into a battle against UMBC. Loyola-Maryland, meanwhile, will have their next action against Binghamton.
