UMass Minutemen vs Temple Owls Recap - Temple Wins 65-63

Levan Shawn Alston Jr. went off for 31 points and added 4 rebounds leading Temple to a 65-63 win over UMass on Wednesday at Liacouras Center.

Temple did not, however, defeat UMass against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks.

Quinton Rose had 14 points for Temple and Nate Pierre-Louis chipped in with 7 points. Levan Shawn Alston Jr. had 2 assists for them, while Ernest Aflakpui was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

UMass got a 12-point performance from Keon Clergeot, who was supported by 12 points from Luwane Pipkins. Curtis Cobb had 4 assists in a losing cause for UMass, while Curtis Cobb grabbed 7 rebounds.

Temple trailed at halftime, 37-28.

UMass had a 37-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Temple takes its act on the road to face Davidson looking for another win. For UMass, they head home to face Fairleigh Dickinson.
