Duquesne Defeats Eastern Kentucky 85-84 - Recap

Eric Williams Jr. scored 21 points and added 14 rebounds for a double-double, leading Duquesne over Eastern Kentucky, 85-84, on Saturday at A.J. Palumbo Center.

Duquesne won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -10.5-point spread.

Duquesne got 14 points from Sincere Carry and another 13 points from Michael Hughes. Sincere Carry contributed 4 assists, while Eric Williams Jr. cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.

Eastern Kentucky got 18 points from Dujuanta Weaver in a losing cause and another 18 points from Nick Mayo. Kelvin Robinson contributed 9 assists for them, while Tre King had 9 rebounds.

Duquesne trailed at halftime, 48-43.
