Louisville Falls 79-69 to North Carolina - Recap

North Carolina got 20 points and 11 rebounds from Luke Maye en route to a 79-69 victory over Louisville on Saturday at KFC Yum! Center.

North Carolina won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -1.5-point spread as favorites.

Cameron Johnson had 19 points for North Carolina and Garrison Brooks chipped in with 12 points. Coby White had 4 assists for them, while Luke Maye was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.

Louisville got a 19-point performance from Dwayne Sutton, who was supported by 15 points from Christen Cunningham. Christen Cunningham had 9 assists in a losing cause for Louisville, while Dwayne Sutton grabbed 8 rebounds.

North Carolina was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

North Carolina had a 47-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, North Carolina takes its act home to face North Carolina State looking for another win. For Louisville, they head on the road to face Virginia Tech.
