UMass Falls 80-75 to George Mason - Recap

George Mason earned a 80-75 victory over UMass on Wednesday, getting 21 points from Otis Livingston II at EagleBank Arena.

George Mason won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.0-point spread.

Javon Greene had 17 points for George Mason and Justin Kier chipped in with 14 points. Otis Livingston II had 5 assists for them, while Jarred Reuter was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

UMass got 26 points from Carl Pierre in a losing cause and another 13 points from Tre Wood. Tre Wood contributed 8 assists for them, while Samba Diallo had 12 rebounds.

George Mason was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

UMass had a 36-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
