Memphis Defeats East Carolina 79-69 - Recap

Jeremiah Martin went off for 31 points and added 4 rebounds leading Memphis to a 79-69 win over East Carolina on Wednesday at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum.

Memphis was a favorite by -8.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.

Memphis got 12 points from Mike Parks and another 9 points from Isaiah Maurice. Alex Lomax contributed 6 assists, while Isaiah Maurice cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

East Carolina got 15 points from Seth LeDay in a losing cause and another 14 points from Shawn Williams. Tyler Foster contributed 4 assists for them, while Seth LeDay had 10 rebounds.

Memphis was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

East Carolina had a 31-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Memphis takes its act on the road to face Central Florida looking for another win. For East Carolina, they head home to face Tulsa.
