Clemson got a 24-point performance from Marcquise Reed, who was supported by 15 points from Clyde Trapp. Shelton Mitchell had 3 assists in a losing cause for Clemson, while Elijah Thomas grabbed 11 rebounds.

North Carolina was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

North Carolina won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-35.
