The battle between Missouri and Georgia didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Georgia was handed a 64-39 defeat on Wednesday at Stegeman Coliseum.

Missouri was a +3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Missouri got 18 points from Jordan Geist and another 17 points from Torrance Watson. Jordan Geist contributed 6 assists, while Mitchell Smith cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Georgia got 9 points from Nicolas Claxton in a losing cause and another 7 points from Jordan Harris. E'Torrion Wilridge contributed 3 assists for them, while Nicolas Claxton had 10 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Missouri were victorious, as the score was 25-15 at the break.

Missouri had a 46-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Missouri looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mississippi. Georgia will aim to get back on the winning track at South Carolina.
