Broncos Fall 35-31 Against NIU - Game Recap

The Broncos had no answer for Jordan Huff on Wednesday as the Huskies rolled to a 35-31 win at Huskie Stadium.

The Huskies won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

Jordan Huff rushed for 185 yards, while Marcus Childers added 43 yards in the win. Mitchell Brinkman and Shane Wimann added 26 and 12 receiving yards respectively.

Jarvion Franklin rushed for 115 yards for Western Michigan, while D'Wayne Eskridge added 9 yards. Reece Goddard threw for 211 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Tyron Arnett and Keishawn Watson had 93 and 53 yards respectively.

The time of possession battle favored Western Michigan as their offense was on the field for 33:02, longer than the 26:58 of their opponents.
